Minion Chocolate Apples

MINION CHOCOLATE APPLES

 

Ingredients

• Apples
• Yellow food colouring
• White chocolate
• Fondant icing - yellow, black, brown, grey & white
• Lollipop sticks

METHOD

1. First off, add the white chocolate into a microwave safe bowl.
2. Heat the white chocolate in the microwave until all melted.
3. Add a few drops of Yellow food colouring to the melted chocolate and mix until well combined.
4. Insert a lollipop stick about 1/3 into each apple.
5. Slowly dip each apple into the yellow chocolate until all the apple is covered.
6. Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper to set.
7. Using the fondant icing cut out the minions goggles, goggle strap, eyes, smile and hair. (VIDEO at 3:10)
8. Once the apples are set, decorate the apples with fondant icing to look like your favourite minions (VIDEO at 5:53)
